2019 Sant' Yago Knight Parade

The Knight Parade, presented by MOR, follows Tampa's annual Gasparilla celebration. The Krewe of the Knights of Sant' Yago has hosted it every year since 1974, and it is considered the largest of its kind in the Southeast.

Attracting spectators of every age, the entire Ybor City area of Tampa comes to life the night of the Illuminated Knight Parade.

The Parade itself is a colorful celebration of civic pride, beaming with illuminated floats, costumed participants, plenty of music, dancing in the streets, and lots and lots of BEADS.

When: 2/09/19, please be in staging no later than 6pm, the parade starts at 7pm.

Where: Section 4, # 92 & 93

Parking: You can park in the Centro or Palm garages.

DISBANDING: We will have only 3 to 4 minutes to get everyone off the floats in disbanding before moving further down to take the decorations off the float. PLEASE get off the float as quickly and safely as possible! If some thorns can help at the end with float break down and walking the ladies back, that would be great!!

BEAD THROWING: Please do not hand out or throw any beads before the start of the parade at Nuccio and 7th Ave!

DRINKS: This is a "dry" parade; please make sure all "liquids" are not in any clear containers!

SECURITY- please remember we need a minimum of 12 security. If we do not have enough, we can do the parade. Please get with KIM PERRY if you have a security person!!
